My laptop seems to have a real problem with overheating. The fan is basically always on, and is really rather noisy, and then it will shut itself off, which isn’t good if I’m in the middle of something. Anyone have some advice on fixing this.
You may want to get another laptop, specifically look for reviews pointing out ones that do a good job of staying cool
There may be some dust built up in the venting area somewhere. If you can get in there to clean out the dust, that usually helps
Try a dock with cooling fans
